Create a Direct Access Link or Embed Code

 

Access Links can be created to quickly submit jobs, change variable values, log into the Web Client and open specific pages.

 

To Create a Direct Access Link or Embed Code, click on the Create A Link button on the Home Page.

 

Use this form to create a Link or Embed Code that can be used to:

 

1.Submit a job (with or without being prompted)

2.Open a job’s Property page in the Web Client

3.View a job’s log file

4.Modify a variable (with or without prompting for value)

5.Open Web Client Home Page or Job, Variable or Calendar Explorer in Web Client

 

 

The link can be copied and saved as a shortcut. The Embed code can be pasted into any website, WordPress site, .NET site etc. This allows quick access to these features for specific jobs without logging in and locating the job. After entering the data, copy the Link or Embed Code and either save it as a shortcut or paste the Embed Code into HTML.

The creation of the Link or Embed code is a 3 step process:

 

1.Fill in the necessary form data

2.Choose the action that the link will perform

3.Copy the Link or Embed Code

At the top of the link creation page is a form that must be filled out for all operation. These fields facilitate the automatic login to the Web Client by sending the user name and encrypted password. The form will automatically use the current defaults for all fields except the log in password and path/name of the job. 
 

 

 

All fields must be filled in:

  

EnterpriseSCHEDULE Node: The EnterpriseSCHEDULE server that the job resides on.

 

User name: User name of the user logging in to perform the procedure.

 

Password: Password of the user logging in to perform the procedure. Not filled in automatically for security reasons.

 

Group Number: The group number of the server that the job runs on. Usually 0.
