New Job Wizard 

 

The New Job Wizard is a quick way to create a new job and configure it using the most common settings. To steps to use the Wizard to create a Job are: 

1.Select New Job Wizard from the Home Page

2.Select a folder that the job will reside in

3.Enter the name of the Job and click Create

4.Select the Command Interpreter and enter a log path if  the Default is not desired

 

 

 

 

 

6.Select a Rescheduling method from 

 

ii.Named Day Rescheduling

iii.Interval Rescheduling iv.           Marked Calendar Rescheduling

          v.           Monthly Rescheduling.

 

6.Enter the Rescheduling Settings and set the Next Start Time

7.Enter any Jobs the Job will initiate on completion. Click on More to add additional Initiaites

 

6.Select which events send out email notifications and the email address to send to.

 

The Summary of Settings will appear.

 

 

Calendars are a scheduling tool that can be used to designate the days a job runs. Pre-existing  Select Modify Calendar to edit the marks on a calendar or change the settings used to determine how the calendar behaves. 

To modify a calendar: 

 

1.Select Modify Calendar from the Home page 

2.Select the Directory where the desired calendar is located 

3.Select the calendar that you want to work with or create a new calendar by enterg the new calendar name and clicking Create a new calendar 

 

There are two choices: 

 

Mark Calendar: By inserting marks you can select individual days for scheduling jobs. 

 

 

1.Select the year and month of the calendar from the top controls. 

2.Select the desired mark(s) to be applied. 

3.Multiple marks are only necessary when using the calendar for multiple jobs that require different marks. 

Touch the days that the marks are to be entered in Click Apply to save changes Calendar Settings:

 

 

 

1.Select the calendar type (Standard or Workday) to determine what type of calendar to use. 

2.Select Slide the submission to the job to the next allowable day or Suppress the job's run and advance the next start time to determine what to do on disabled days. 

3.Choose the month to start the fiscal month. The first month of a year is provided by the Fiscal setting for a given calendar. It can be any month of the year. The default is January.
