Creating Job Links 

 

To create a link that submits a job, Opens and job’s properties or displays a job’s log file, click on the Create Job Links tab.

To create a Job Link

 

1.Click the Create Job Link tab

2.Enter a job name including the complete path in EnterpriseSCHEDULE.
Note: The job name is required. Use syntax  \dirname\jobname.
 

3.Select the Function from the check boxes. The choices are:

a.Quick Submit – Submit job immediately

b.Submit – Open Confirm page to verify submission

c.Open the job’s Property page

d.View the job’s log file
 

If submitting the job, select whether the job will initiate jobs on completion and whether it will check for prerequisites, initiates and end actions. A pair of parameters may also be sent to the job via the link as well as labels that will appear on the Submit with Confirmation page.
 

a.Evaluate prerequisites, start times and end actions

b.Evaluate initiates

c.Set tag (optional) - Set tag data may be passed to the job

d.Set Parameter(optional) - A set tag parameter may be passed to the job

 

Click Create Link to create the link

 

A dialog box will open with both the HTML link and the Embed code to add a link to a web page. Copy the link for use as a desktop web link or to embed in a web page.
